The Challenge Faced by The Tyning
The Tyning’s homeowner approached Bundle to reduce both heating and electrical bills while also enabling electric vehicle charging.
After conducting a home survey, we identified several systems that would provide the energy-efficient upgrade the homeowner needed. A key aspect of the installation was ensuring all components worked seamlessly together to deliver a comprehensive energy-efficient solution.
Bundle’s Approach
To tackle the requirements, we decided on a system that used:
- Mitsubishi Ecodan 14kW Air Source Heat Pump
- 400L hot water cylinder
- 12 panel (4.8kWp) Solar PV array
- MyEnergi Zappi EV charger
- EDDI diverter
This extensive install was designed specifically for the property and will cover the heating and hot water loads required, while producing clean solar energy for the property.
The Results
Projected savings: £811.7 per year on energy bills
Carbon emissions: An estimated 5,100kg saved annually
The client experienced a fantastic installation and is very happy with the results of the energy-efficient upgrade.
The Solar array makes a considerable difference to the running costs of the property and when coupled with the EV charger and EDDI diverter, any excess solar power is diverted back into either charging their car or heating the property’s hot water.
